The 56 th edition of the SILMO gathered this year more than 900 exhibitors from 42 countries, it is indisputably positioned as the largest exhibition in the world with more than 1,500 brands represented. Our visit allowed us to have a global vision of the trends in terms of creation and innovation. The eyewear industry is in a state of transition and is moving towards a techno-responsible future. Indeed, brands are becoming aware of the need to act on a daily basis with more responsibility and are looking for eco-responsible manufacturing processes.
Among the brands present at the Maison des Créateurs, Lucas de Staël was nominated in the selection of the Silmo d’Or with the glacier bezel made of leather. Andy Wolf was awarded a Silmo d’Or for his solar model Blossom.
